4 sessions of audio lectures plus written materials/exercises/readings
Moral conduct, duty, judgment, moral principles, the formation of standards of right and wrong and applications in practical reality form the core content of the usual course in ethics. In this course, we examine these topics from the viewpoint of esoteric wisdom and higher consciousness, considering such themes as the expansion of the ethical community, the more rigorous obligations of higher consciousness and psychic etiquette, in light of Jung’s psychology.
Readings include selections from Jung, as well as Depth Psychology and a New Ethic by Jungian analyst (and student of Jung’s) Erich Neumann. Distance-learning students must obtain a copy of Neumann; it is still in print, available from Shambhala.
