How can we learn to appreciate the in-between? Liminal space—the place between what has been and what is yet to come—is often filled with uncertainty. Yet it is also where new possibilities begin to emerge. Rather than rushing to the next answer, we can learn to trust the process, remain open, and discover what is asking to unfold.
Life is full of times when one chapter is ending and another has not yet begun. These moments invite us to pause, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.
Join us for this two-part series as we explore how to navigate life's transitions through guided practices, personal reflection, and meaningful conversation.

The Magic of Mugwort For Dreaming
send checks to Jungian Center, PO Box 21, Waterbury VT 05676 or contact mehrtensse@gmail.com
In many cultures and traditions Mugwort has been associated with dreaming and magic. It often assists us to explore the unconscious parts of ourselves and our inner visions and also can enhance more vivid dreaming and dream states.
In this two part series we will be exploring this plant and all it has to offer. We will be learning about its rich history, its abilities and properties, common ways it is used to aid in your dreaming, the science of how it works in helping with dream recall as well as common ways it is used. If we have time I will also show you how to make mugwort dreambundles, mugwort tea and there will be a live demonstrations and a closing ritual.
Led by Rev. Kim Marie Glynn.
Kim Marie Glynn was first introduced to mugwort when it called out to her in her own yard and was one of the first plants that spoke to her. After years of harvesting and creating a relationship with mugwort she feels called to share this plant with others who wish to know its magic. Rev. Kim Marie is an interspiritual minister (currently at All Souls Interfaith in Shelburne, VT www.allsoulsinterfaith.org) , a spiritual director/guide and graduate of Seminary of the Wild, which also heightened her relationship with the plant world on her spiritual path. She believes that as we expand our consciousness and learn to listen deeper to ourselves and the mirrors and miracles around us, we can access a magical world where all things are working to aid each other for the highest harmony in our individual and collective souls.

This very special interactive course illustrates an individuation process through images of the soul produced by the gifted Swiss artist Peter Birkhaeuser.
Birkhaeuser was acquainted with Carl Jung, and in analysis with Marie-Louise von Franz, who supported him through his inner process and helped to make sense of his dream images and inner visions, most of which he worked into his paintings.
Participants will learn of Birkhaeuser’s own experiences on the archetypal journey-wrestling with the “inner Daimon” and figures of light and darkness, mining symbols for
their uplifting insights, exploring projections, befriending shadow figures and learning how to foster transformation, not only in the individual, but also on the collective level.
Many of the themes in these dreams have astonishing relevance to our present times. The course combines discussions of our own dreams and experiences in the work of soul
growth with interpretations of the painter’s works from Birkhaeuser’s daughter Eva Wertenschlag-Birkhaeuser - herself a Jungian analyst - and from Marie-Louise von Franz, complemented by C.G. Jung’s works.
To foster our own individual creativity and enrich our viewing of the paintings, we will have a variety of homework activities.
Led by Sonja Plaschka and Sue Mehrtens.

In this chaotic time we are living in, it is easy to forget that we are children of the light. Through the gentle, meditative craft of needle felting, you'll create a personal spirit doll--a hands-on journey back to yourself. Guided by reflection, intuition and intention, you'll shape a doll that can offer you the opportunity to connect with your soul's wisdom, and be reminded of your essence, your life force, your inner sacredness. As the needle moves rhythmically through the wool, your mind settles into a relaxed, meditative state--the perfect space to tap into your intuition, imagination and transformation. By the end, your doll will be more than a craft--it will be a friend, an ally, a confidante, a reflection of your own spirit that you've made with your own hands.
This is more of an advanced class and some basic knowledge of needle felting is required.

JUNG ON AMERICA - A Collection of Essays in Print
What would Jung think of our “Too-Big-to-Fail” institutions?
What would Jung make of our American exceptionalism?
How would Jung describe America’s shadow?
What about the idea of reparations?
These and other similar questions drawn from the daily headlines have been posed by students at the Jungian Center for the Spiritual Sciences, and they form the substance of this book. Although Carl Jung died in 1961, his intuition and wisdom transcend time and makes his writings as pertinent now as it was in the twentieth century. So we can draw upon his ideas as we grapple with the challenges we face now.
