November 2020
Dear Friends,
Some followers of our blog have noticed that I’ve posted the November blog essay earlier than usual. That is because I got trained in how to post the essay as a pdf, so as to preserve the formatting. Thanks to the patient tutelage of Melissa Rose, I was able to do it (kudos and a big gold star for Melissa for her help!). All future essays will be in the pdf form, and, if you choose to read the essay on a cell phone screen, you may find it does not “paginate” well. I was delighted when Gary Highberger pointed this out to me, as I am not a fan of the cell phone, nor would Jung have been either. Why both of us find cell phones objectionable will be explained in a future blog essay that I am working on now. This shift in essay format will (I hope) encourage our readers to put down their cell phones.
The only course that will meet this month is “Treasures of the World’s Religions,” on November 3rd. I had set aside the rest of the month for tech training on how to post and remove large files from the InMotion Hosting Web site, but so far I have not been able to find anyone willing to train me. The InMotion Hosting tech people only speak technoese–a language I do not understand. If any reader of this newsletter knows of someone who can train me in this, I would be most grateful for his/her contact info.
