Dear Friends,

+++++++++++++++

Last year, as I sat composing our March newsletter, I complained of the many days of gray--thanks to Lake Champlain not freezing over. This winter of 2025 has been worse: those clouds held snow upon snow, creating a snow pile on my front lawn nearly ten feet high. Sigh.

Historically in these parts March had brought us some of our major blizzards, so we know more snow is to come, but our Jungian Center classes are not affected, thanks to Zoom.

This month begins our months-long celebration of Jung’s sesquicentennial (150th birthday), with a variety of puzzles. The first person who submits the puzzle with all the correct answers wins a free copy of a book for sale on our web site. Sharpen your pen or. pencil!

Regardless of how March comes in--lion or lamb--the following courses will be running this month. I hope you will join us.
Warmly,
Sue

An embodied, meditative practice at the intersection of poetry and neuroscience, social dreaming is a novel use of dreams, language and interconnectivity that nourishes the imagination, sources creativity and invites the emergence of new ideas. For artists, thinkers, activists and the curious, SDM has been described as:
“… a space for the poetic depths of our lives as we weave a collective tapestry of dream images and free association involving urgent global issues and concerns, personal healing journeys, spirituality, and the vivid daily encounters both mundane and magical”.
Dive into the waters of our collective, creative unconscious in 4 sessions this winter.
Facilitated by Susan Webb, MD, psychoanalyst, psychedelic therapist, writer and social dreaming host and Georgie Goater, PhD, choreographer, dance artist and poet.

JUNG ON AMERICA - A Collection of Essays in Print

Paperback

What would Jung think of our “Too-Big-to-Fail” institutions?

What would Jung make of our American exceptionalism?

How would Jung describe America’s shadow?

What about the idea of reparations?

These and other similar questions drawn from the daily headlines have been posed by students at the Jungian Center for the Spiritual Sciences, and they form the substance of this book. Although Carl Jung died in 1961, his intuition and wisdom transcend time and makes his writings as pertinent now as it was in the twentieth century. So we can draw upon his ideas as we grapple with the challenges we face now.
