Dear Friends,
Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were full of good health and cheer. For the Jungian Center, 2025 is a special year--we celebrate our 20th anniversary, and the sesquicentennial of Carl Jung's birthday 150 years ago. We have been developing special events commemorating these milestones for our web site--watch for special screens in the coming months.

More immediately we have five courses coming up:

Anima and Animus, Wednesdays, Jan. 8, 15, 22 & 29; 7-9PM; via Zoom; $60
This course introduces participants to two of the most important archetypes living in their unconscious--two powerful forces that can color our perceptions of others, both men and women, as well as support (or hinder) our creativity, if we are aware (or unaware) of them. In this course, participants will have multiple exercises providing opportunities to discover the "faces" of these key inner energies. This course is a prerequisite for the course on Meeting Your Inner Partner. Led by Sue Mehrtens

Introduction to Family Constellations, Color Therapy- recommended by Sue Mehrtens, Jan.11, 2-4.30 pm EST, Via Zoom, $20 (via Zelle (650-798-4168) or Venmo); to register, email us: info@jungiancenter.org
This series encompasses constellating our life stories using Color Therapy & Family Constellations to somatically open new neural pathways. The format is experiential -guiding you to tap into your intuitive abilities via the field of consciousness, you will learn to clear hidden dynamics and unresolved issues. Led by Hemla Makan-Dullabh, Teacher & Facilitator.

Social Dreaming Matrix, Jan.11,18,25, Feb 1; 10a-12p (EST); via Zoom; $180 (via Zelle, Wise or Applepay in $US); to register, email susan@susanwebbmd.com
Dive into the waters of our collective, creative unconscious as we share our dreams, free associate to each other’s imagery, and bring forth creativity, vitality and re-generativity. This 4-session series hopes to liberate the suppressed wisdom and ingenuity of the collective, provide a space for the emergence of new thought, open channels to creativity, and facilitate a unique form of interconnectivity. Facilitated by Susan Webb, MD, psychoanalyst, psychedelic therapist, writer and social dreaming host.

Reading Jung II, session 5, Jan. 18, 3-5PM EST, via Zoom.

Healing Abandonment, Anger & Grief Using Family Constellations & Color Therapy - recommended by Sue Mehrtens, Jan.25, 2-4.30 pm EST, Via Zoom, $20 (via Zelle (650-798-4168) or Venmo); to register, email us: info@jungiancenter.org
In this guided workshop, participants will explore how human emotions keep us in duality and prevent us from experiencing the Self. Our human emotions are part of who we are; we become fixated on them and lose connection with Self. Through somatic processes, you will connect with your intuitive abilities. Led by Hemla Makan-Dullabh, Teacher and facilitator.

We hope you join us for these, and check out our January blog essay; the URL for it is:

JUNG ON AMERICA - A Collection of Essays in Print

Paperback

What would Jung think of our “Too-Big-to-Fail” institutions?

What would Jung make of our American exceptionalism?

How would Jung describe America’s shadow?

What about the idea of reparations?

These and other similar questions drawn from the daily headlines have been posed by students at the Jungian Center for the Spiritual Sciences, and they form the substance of this book. Although Carl Jung died in 1961, his intuition and wisdom transcend time and makes his writings as pertinent now as it was in the twentieth century. So we can draw upon his ideas as we grapple with the challenges we face now.
