By car: Waterbury is centrally located in the Green Mountains of Vermont, 20 minutes south of Stowe, right on Interstate 89. By car, it is 4.5 hours from Boston, 6.5 hours from New York City.
By plane: The nearest major airport is in South Burlington (Burlington International Airport, BTV), a 20 minute drive on I-89. Burlington is served by the major U.S. carriers, with non-stop service from Boston and New York multiple times a day. Most of the other major East Coast cities are also linked by air to Burlington, many with non-stop service.
By train: Waterbury is served via Amtrak’s Vermonter, a direct route from Washington, D.C., stopping at Baltimore, Philadelphia, Newark, New York (Penn Station), New Haven and Hartford CT, and Springfield MA, as well as several towns in New Hampshire and Vermont. The northern half of the trip affords lovely views of the Connecticut River valley and the Green Mountains. Once in Waterbury, you can walk to our headquarters or the Old Stagecoach Inn from the train station.
