This course is an in-depth examination of the principles underlying the operation of the cosmos. It investigates key Western metaphysical themes like the nature of being, the nature of the Divine, truth, energy, logic, ethics, aesthetics, and knowledge. It explores the relationship between humans and Ultimate Being. We examine epistemology—the nature of knowledge and how we go about knowing, in both spiritual and earthly realms. Included are some of the major components of esoteric philosophy as well as examination of the mental and spiritual principles found in ancient wisdom traditions. Also considered are spiritual evolution, the path of attainment, and theurgy—how we might live wisdom, and do the work of the Divine in the world
