Astrology I (April 6, 13, 27 and May 4, 2006)
This is an introduction to the basic concepts that undergird the practice of astrology at the Center, which is unique in its melding of Western and Eastern (Vedic) astrological systems. We trace the history of interpretations of astrology and describe some of the current computer programs that make chart creation quick and easy. Each participant works with his/her own chart as we introduce the zodiac and its associated myths, the 12 houses and their significance, and the 13 planets and points of importance. Also considered are the triplicities and quadriplicities. The culmination of the course is the integration of the various components of chart analysis into a holistic “cosmic psychograph.”
